All About Julia Ruggirello... 

Julia Ruggirello (she/her/hers) is a 24 year old non-union musical theater performer originally from Clarkston, Michigan.

• This past summer, Julia performed as Urleen in Footloose at the Boardwalk Theatre in St Clair, Michigan for Thumbcoast Live Entertainment's 100th production!

  • (Directed by Eric Quang Gelb, Choreographed by Lauren Riggs). 

    • Footloose was a smashing success and sold out over half of its run!

• Another exciting role she played is Al Itallia's fiery flight attendant Gabriella in the 1960's comedy/farce Boeing Boeing at the Riverbank Theatre in Marine City, Michigan

  • (Directed by Brittany Everitt-Smith).

• During the holiday season of 2025 she completed over 100+ performances as Conductor Bailey in the Principal Trio of The Polar Express Train Ride in Whippany, New Jersey with Rail Events Productions and Warner Brothers. 

  • (Directed by Kassady Kwiatkowska).​

• She is an alumni of Kent State University (KSU) BFA Musical Theater Program and graduated in May, 2024.

• After Graduation, she spent 9 months as an Acting Apprentice at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, Florida gaining valuable experience working at a large scale regional theatre.

• Off of the stage, Julia enjoys spending time with her dog Pedro, reading fantasy novels, planning elaborate Halloween costumes, and listening to her vintage vinyl collection.
