Julia Ruggirello (she/her/hers) is a 23 year old non union musical theater performer originally from Clarkston, Michigan.

Most recently, Julia performed as Al Itallia's fiery flight attendant Gabriella in the 1960's comedy and farce Boeing Boeing at the Riverbank Theatre in Marine City, Michigan (Directed by Brittany Everitt-Smith).

Julia completed over 100+ performances in Winter 2025 as Conductor Bailey in the Principal Trio of The Polar Express Train Ride in Whippany, New Jersey with Rail Events Productions and Warner Brothers.

She is an alumni of Kent State University (KSU) BFA Musical Theater Program and graduated in May, 2024. Julia was an Acting Apprentice at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, Florida from late 2024-mid 2025. She enjoys her free time spending time with her dog Pedro, listening to her vinyl Broadway record collection and cooking pasta.

TEACHING
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I was a day camp counselor for 4 summers and I spent summer of 2022 assisting and being the student mentor for the Porthouse Academy, a 3-6 week long program for incoming students in the Theatre/Muscial programs at Kent State University.

FAMILY
I have a very large Italian family which is a really important part of my life. I have about 40 family members on each side of the family so holidays are always a big celebration.

PEDRO
Pedro is my 7 year old bichon-poodle mix who my family rescued from a neglected home at a shelter almost 5 years ago. He is very shy around new people but is super close to our family and is a lap dog who enjoys taking naps, walks, and snuggles. He is my best friend.
