Footloose is a 1980's energetic musical that takes place in the small town of Bomont. The plot centers around Reverend Shaw who has passed a law banning dancing and the teens who are fighting back against this law. Ren, a new boy in town from Chicago, inspires Ariel (the Reverend's daughter), and the rest of the towns teens to challenge the Town Council.

Julia plays Urleen, one of Ariel's best friends who narrate the story and fill in Ren on the history of Bomont. Footloose is a non-stop explosion of energy, dancing, and emotion including a 7 minute long "Megamix" of all the big numbers including "Holding Out For A Hero", "Heaven Helps The Man", and of course, "Footloose!"

Julia was particularly excited to play Urleen as she performed in Footloose at her high school in 2018 as Wendy Jo, another member of the girl group.
